On September 10, 2026, Gdańsk will once again bring together the European secondary raw materials industry. We?re getting ready for the 25th edition of the International Metal Traders & Recyclers Meeting, and we couldn?t be more excited about this special anniversary edition. We?re expecting more than 200 participants from Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, the Netherlands and many other countries. We?re looking forward to seeing everyone in Gdańsk!

Organised jointly by the Chamber of Non-Ferrous Metals and Recycling Industry (IGMNiR) and the German federation CMA (formerly VDM and BDSV), the meeting has been a key event in the industry calendar for many years.

The presence of guests from Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, the Netherlands and many other countries clearly shows that the Polish and European metals market needs a space for direct exchange and meaningful discussions. This year’s edition will provide a space for discussion on the new challenges facing the industry, evolving regulations, and the joint search for solutions, ideas and opportunities for further cooperation.

What can we expect?

• Strong international representation: More than 200 participants from Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, the Netherlands and other countries, including industry experts, traders, representatives of smelters, processors and machinery suppliers.

• International exchange of experience: The meeting will provide an opportunity to gain insights into different markets, discuss the current situation in the industry and exchange knowledge and best practices.

• Networking and new business opportunities: Direct B2B meetings will create space for making new contacts, meeting potential business partners and exploring opportunities for future cooperation.
