STARMET M.Buszko Spółka Jawna specializes in recycling cables and wires, as well as trading scrap metal and plastics. Its headquarters is located in Stargard, at 13 Główna Street, on a 4-hectare site. It has been operating since 2000, although its origins date back to 1996, when one of the partners began activities in non-ferrous metal trading.

Over the years, the company has heavily invested in scrap processing technologies — it launched additional production lines, opened its first facility in Stargard in 2002, and in 2006, with EU support, installed a third cable recycling line capable of processing approximately 3,500 tons annually. In 2008, it began producing road and construction infrastructure components from plastic waste.

Today, it operates globally as a group of companies and is a leader in manufacturing products derived from cable recycling waste. In 2019, it received funding from the Smart Growth Operational Programme to build a modern cable waste processing facility with an annual capacity of 18,000 tons. In 2025, it celebrated its 25th anniversary, and all company shares were acquired by its main founder, Marcin Buszko. The company continues to invest in new technologies, enabling further growth and expansion of its operational potential.
